PERFORMANCE: Cases of C Difficle reported across the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group area reached 24 in November, exceeding an annual target of 20.

Six of these cases were reported at Isle of Wight Trust, the island’s main provider of acute care, according to CCG board documents.

One occurred at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust, while the rest were traced across the broader CCG community.

The Isle of Wight Trust is the only integrated acute, community, mental health and ambulance care provider in England.
