WORKFORCE: Norwich Clinical Commissioning Group’s chief executive has resigned.
Jonathon Fagge has stepped down from his position with immediate effect, the CCG has confirmed.
A statement issued by the CCG said he has “indicated he wishes to pursue other areas of work, following a period of absence”.
The CCG’s chief financial officer Jo Smithson will take over the role in an interim capacity.
Ms Smithson said the organisation was “grateful for all the work Jonathon has done to launch and lead the CCG in its first years” and it “will continue to build on its achievements”.
Mr Fagge’s resignation comes after he was cleared of assaulting his wife following a dispute in February.
