STRUCTURE: Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group has become the first NHS commissioning organisation to be awarded the Investors in Excellence standard.
The national standard tests all-round business performance, covering leadership, delivery, people and user outcomes. It is used as an organisational improvement tool.
NHS Rotherham CCG chief officer Chris Edwards said: “We are delighted to become the first clinical commissioning group to be awarded the Investors in Excellence Standard, which is in line with our drive to deliver and work to the highest standards and deliver the best possible services for Rotherham patients.
“We have recently completed our first year as a statutory organisation and this recognition reinforces the excellent progress we have made.”
Investors in Excellence chief executive Ian Nield said: “We would like to congratulate NHS Rotherham CCG on meeting the Investors in Excellence standard. It is an excellent demonstration of their capabilities and testimony to the commitment they have clearly demonstrated to continuous improvement.”
