PERFORMANCE: The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals Trust has failed to meet the four hour standard for A&E for January, February and March so far.

Its fourth quarter performance is likely to be only 90 per cent.

A report to the NHS Norfolk and Waveney cluster board heard that six week waits for diagnostic procedures at the trust doubled between December and January to 3.5 per cent of the total.

It has also had a possible case of MRSA in March, which, if confirmed, would bring the total for the year so far to nine against a full year ceiling of six.
