WORKFORCE: The former chief executive of East Anglian Air Ambulance is to run the Wells Community Hospital in north Norfolk.
Simon Gray plans to develop new income streams for the charity-run hospital. During his time at the Air Ambulance, income increased from £1.2m to £4.2m. .
Mr Gray said: “There is a lot to do and building services and facilities for the future for the benefit of local people will be at the very core of all my activities.
“I will need to stabilise the existing services and infrastructure whilst planning for new developments and opportunities with the NHS and other strategic partners.”
The community hospital is run by a charitable trust in partnership with NHS Norfolk.
