WORKFORCE: Nicola Bailey, currently acting chief executive of Hartlepool Borough Council, has been appointed as chief operating officer of North Durham CCG.
She has previously held director of adult and children’s services posts in councils, and earlier in her career was a clinical nurse and nurse manager. She will start on 1 November.
The CCG’s chair is Dr Kate Bidwell and its accountable officer is Dr Neil O’Brien.
