FINANCE: The north London acute faces a disinvestment under the North Central London cluster’s QIPP programme of £20.6m over the next three years.
The £174m-turnover hospital trust will see activity diverted away from it under the QIPP plans going up to 2014/15.
The cluster anticipates saving £3m of that in referal management, a further £6m in acute productivity and has identified a “gap” of £6.3m in its total
The five-PCT cluster anticipates total savings from its acute contracts of £160.2m, 74 per cent of its £215.2m total.
