PERFORMANCE: Commissioners have closed five performance notices on Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust after seeing improved performance over the past year.
In 2010-11 NHS Oxfordshire identified concerns around the 18 week waiting time target, accident and emergency waiting times, cancer waiting times, mixed sex accommodation and radiology turnaround times.
Board papers for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire primary care trust cluster say that, in quarter one of 2011-12, the trust hit targets for all those national goals.
On mixed sex accommodation, the trust reported 859 breaches in February this year.
“However since then the ORH has redesigned services and undertaken significant building work at the Horton General Hospital to significantly improve the situation, paper said. “This has resulted in the ORH reporting no nationally defined breaches in August 2011.”
In radiology, 80 per cent of reports were verified five days after the image was taken last year. That figure has since risen to 97 per cent.
