NHS Professionals Living and Working with Parkinsons Group: Delivering Time-Critical Medication on Time, Every Time - A Patient-Led Campaign

A group of NHS professionals living and working with Parkinsons are collectively using their experiences and influence as healthcare professionals to drive a patient-led national campaign aiming to develop and implement a whole systems quality improvement movement. The aim is for all patients on time critical medication to receive their medication on time every time when in the hospital. Data shows that patient harm occurs when doses are delayed or missed.

The judges recognised the project’s significance in enhancing patient involvement, with positive feedback on engagement efforts.
