I was refreshed by the nature of this article and the first comment having read the original and not feeling it quite provided a picture of realism despite the quality of research analysis utilised. It highlights to me the importance of NHS managers being exposed to and seeking out for themselves good quality health or management research (regardless of whether or not you agree with the hypothesis or interpretation of the results) rather than just lapping up bite sized headlines. More of this please HSJ.
