I think that most of the population believe that an inquiry should happen but its scope will be key and it will be no overnight piece of work.

Short term, as a service we need to look at what worked well and what didn't - PPE stocks being the one that springs to mind as well as contact tracing and testing.

Once we have some degree of normality lets fix those issues first just in case it or another virus flares and causes potential chaos.

We can then worry about the longer term structural issues a bit later.
