There really needs to be more transparency about this. Are all Covid patients getting equal care? It seems there are lots of private arrangements between Trusts rather than a holistic England-wide approach.

What does Alison Pittard actually mean when she says “When local mutual aid is exhausted then it is vital to look further afield and, again, it is a balancing act.” How can there be local mutual aid in north east London if all the hospitals are overwhelmed. Are the patients in north east London being transferred? Who is being transferred? What criteria is being used? How is the whole health structure in England being used to support the NHS not becoming overwhelmed?
