I whole heartedly agree with this article and the words of Dr Habib Naqvi, however I remain unconvinced that anything will change. Roger Kline’s “snowy white peaks of the NHS” was published 10 years ago and what really has changed? There has been a lot of talk, we now analyse more data so we are aware of the significance of the issue, but yet no one really seems committed to put in measure that will level up the playing field and lead to radical change. I hope the new labour government do come through with their commitment, but for people of colour, we are sick of the words and pledges, we just want to see action please.
