WORKFORCE: The Health and Safety Executive has removed one of two improvement notices issued to Salisbury Foundation Trust.
The notices were issued earlier this year due to concerns the trust was not doing enough to protect staff from violence, aggression and dermatitis.
A report to August’s board said: “While there is still more work to do, the HSE has removed one notice relating to dermatitis prevention and extended the period to complete actions on the management of risk to staff from violence and aggression.
“This is in response to the trust’s positive approach to the improvement notices and good progress in these areas. A key action within the first notice was to improve the take up of staff training around conflict resolution and this has improved significantly with additional sessions for high risk groups.”
