WORKFORCE: Low staff turnover at Salisbury Foundation Trust is making it difficult for the trust to meet its workforce reduction targets.

A report to the board of the Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole primary care trust cluster said staff turnover for quarter one 2012-13 was 1.93 per cent.

The report said: “This low figure presents a challenge for the trust in its efforts to meet workforce reduction targets through natural wastage, avoiding the need for redundancies.”
