PERFORMANCE: The south east London acute saw 92 breaches at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and 25 at the Princess Royal University Hospital.

In addition, the trust recorded 100 breaches in April - 59 at Princess Royal University Hospital and 41 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

A report on performance during the two months, made to the south east London cluster, said: “These breaches were in endoscopy and day surgery.

“South London Healthcare Trust has reported that the endoscopy issues at the Princess Royal University Hospital site were resolved in mid-April and the Princess Royal University Hospital is now fully compliant, other than when emergency cases have to be added to planned single gender lists.”
