PERFORMANCE: The multi-site south London trust is predicted to hit the target of 95 per cent of A&E attendances seen within four hours for 2010-11, a report from the capital’s strategic health authority has said.

NHS London’s performance report said the acute trust had a year-to-date position “below the operation standard” but that “South London is expected to meet 95 per cent across the year 2010-11”.

The report noted that Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust was not expected to hit the target.

It added: “The performance of both trusts has improved significantly over the last three weeks.”
