PERFORMANCE: South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust has been issued with a performance notice by commissioners after a recording high numbers of mixed sex accommodation breaches.
The trust reported 138 breaches in the first four months of 2011-12, although its figure for July, at 17, was the smallest monthly figure this year. There were 55 breaches in June, 46 in May and 20 in April. The national target is for no breaches to take place at any point in the year.
According to the September report by the director of nursing for the Warwickshire and Coventry primary care trust cluster, a remedial action plan has been forwarded to the West Midlands strategic health authority.
