FINANCE: Stockport Foundation Trust recorded a deficit of £645,000 for the first three months of 2013-14, its latest finance report states.

The report states that the recorded deficit was £797,000 behind the trust’s “internal plan” for that point in the financial year, but £517,000 ahead of the plan it submitted to foundation trust regulator Monitor.

It adds: “This financial position delivers a financial risk rating of a 2 at the end of the first quarter. The main area of concern continues to be the under achievement of cost reduction plans.”
