Acute trusts and primary care trusts (PCTs) will form the vanguard of the NHS response to an influenza pandemic. This document has been developed to facilitate planning by NHS trusts and provides guidance on infection control and tools for local public health and healthcare officials who are at the front line in managing and containing an influenza pandemic.
