Harald Schmidt is assistant director of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, and research associate and part-time PhD student at LSE Health. For his Harkness Fellowship he is based at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. His research interests include comparative health policy, public health ethics and personal responsibility for health.
