PERFORMANCE: The chair of Hillingdon Hospitals Foundation Trust has said it is not making sufficient progress on theare utilisation.

The minutes of the June meeting saw chair Mike Robinson note: “Consultants must understand that it is unacceptable for theatre sessions to be delayed as a result of consultants arriving late, as this means that the other theatre staff are not being utilised during this time.”

He asked that metrics on theatre utilisation are included in the performance report each month.
