PERFORMANCE: The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals FT is outperforming all seven targets on cancer waiting times.

Year to date, 97.8 per cent of patients with suspected breast cancer have been seen within two weeks compared to a target of 93 per cent. All patients are upgraded to a consultant within 62 days compared to a target of 86 per cent while 99.4 per cent of patients have their first treatment within 31 days against a target of 98 per cent. 100 per cent of patients received subsequent treatment within 31 days compared to a target of 98 per cent.

The other targets are (with RBCHFT performance in brackets): two weeks maximum wait for urgent suspected cancer referrals from GP 93% (93.5%); 62 Day - 1st treatment 86% (88.7%) and 62 day - screening patients 86% (98.1%).
