FINANCE: A finance report to the south west London PCT cluster showed Wandsworth’s reserves had gone from £18m at the start of the year to £3m by the end of month eight.

The document said: “If acute spend increases further, it is likely these reserves will run out soon, and there is a risk that Wandsworth might not be able to deliver its surplus.”

The PCT’s revised surplus plan is £14.5m, which is still the largest of the five PCTs in the cluster.
