STRUCTURE: The primary care trust is holding an extra meeting in public at the end of the month to provide the public with an opportunity to “hear the latest on health services across the region”.

The PCT board normally meets in public every other month and is scheduled to have its next full meeting in May, but an additional session is being held in April.

The PCT said it wanted to provide opportunity to “review a number of important issues”, including the appointment of executive directors to the Sussex PCT cluster board. The meeting is being held on Thursday 28 April, at 1.30pm, and will include a 15 minute question and answer session.

NHS West Sussex chair Norman Robson said: “It is a very interesting time for the NHS both nationally and locally, and our board meetings are a good opportunity to discuss these changes. We warmly welcome anyone who wants to attend.”

Amanda Fadero officially became chief executive of the Sussex PCT Cluster on the 1 April in a move that brings together NHS West Sussex, NHS Brighton and Hove, NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald and NHS Hastings and Rother.
