WORKFORCE: Worcestershire’s chief executive has been appointed to the top role at the West Mercia primary care trust cluster.
Eamonn Kelly, currently chief executive of NHS Worcestershire has been appointed to the top job at the cluster leading the management of the NHS in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire County PCT and NHS Telford and Wrekin.
NHS West Midlands has appointed the chief executives who will head up the five management clusters, as regional health services continue to implement the government’s reform programme.
The appointments will provide additional leadership, support and scrutiny for future decisions affecting local NHS services.
