A&E target improving at Plymouth Hospitals Trust after winter blip

PERFORMANCE: Accident and Emergency waiting times at Plymouth Hospitals Trust are improving again after falling to just 91.7 per cent in December.

During January 94.2 per cent of patients were admitted, discharged and transferred within four hours, below the revised national target of 95 per cent.

However, performance is continuing to improve and in the week ending 6 February 98 per cent of patients were seen within the required time frame.
