Pressure to discharge 'should not influence decisions', says Mid Staffs report
Patients and their families made 96 complaints about discharge from Mid Staffs Foundation Trust, including complaints of discharge from accident and emergency without proper diagnosis or management, discharge at an inappropriate time or with the patient in an inappropriate condition, and a failure to provide sufficient support.
