However, the services are still running in exactly the same way as they did prior to acquisition, so there should be no reason for performance to change. There is always the possibility that a merger exercise can cause a distraction and people could "take their eye off the ball". However, the smooth transition of operational management arrangements meant that this risk was minimised.
