It is hardly surprising that there is a culture of fear in the NHS amongst top managers when pressure is extremely high to deliver and bullying is a known problem.

The HSJ itself exacerbates problems with poorly researched journalism attacking, naming and shaming senior managers.

Isn't this supposed to be the journal which is useful to managers? Why spend a good proportion of your time attacking them? Very baffling to those of us in the actual service.
