The British Heart Foundation has launched an initiative to educate four to six-year-olds about the potential health problems of obesity - a condition which has doubled among UK youngsters in the last 10 years.BHF to educate children about the benefits of healthy living and how to avoid habits that could lead to coronary heart disease.The initiative includes The Big Heart Book , which is designed to communicate vital messages about diet and physical activity.BHF recommends that children take at least one hour of physical activity per day, but recent research shows that half of 11-16-year-olds do not even walk for 10 minutes per day.
