More than two-thirds of civil servants at the Department of Health say the organisation is not well-managed, a staff survey reveals.
The DoH staff survey 2007 shows a lack of confidence in senior management and doubts over the department's effectiveness.
Only 3 per cent of the 1,400 staff who responded felt change was well managed. Just 12 per cent had full confidence in senior managers. while 71 per cent disagreed with the statement that the DoH's senior leadership 'inspires staff in a united sense of purpose to work for the department'.
