The NHS Confederation has issued its own election manifesto, which calls on politicians to stop using the NHS, its staff and patients as 'political footballs' in the run-up to the general election. The confederation challenges politicians to debate what it says are the real health issues that affect millions of voters - long-term care, better integration of care and improving public health.
