HSJ to host Learning Disability Week Twitter chat

This week is Learning Disability Week 2013 and HSJ is marking it with a Twitter chat.

The chat, which will take place on Thursday 22 August at 12.30pm, will consider our recent article on internships for people with learning disabilities. It explored whether having the hospital workforce represent all parts of a community could improve the experience of patients with learning disabilities, plus other communication and capacity issues.

The chat will be hosted by HSJ project editor Shreshtha Trivedi (@ShreshthaHSJ) and the article’s author Daniel Marsden (@dmarsden49), using the hashtag #HSJchat. The discussion will then be made available on Storify.
