Leonard Fenwick, chief executive of Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals foundation trust, has been awarded a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

Theresa Green, chair of Royal Marsden foundation trust; and Charles Bell, chief executive of South London and Maudsley foundation trust, were made Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).

Among those made Officers of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) were Peter Morris, chief executive of University Hospital of South Manchester foundation trust; and Bridget Stephens, former deputy chief executive of Bradford Teaching Hospitals foundation trust.
