The NHS Executive has launched the Strategic Human Resources Intelligence Network promised in the government's HR framework, Working Together, to improve communications and offer help to employers on HR developments. Existing and 'embryonic' local networks can apply for funding from the project of£1,000 a year for each participating NHS employer. Three HR consultancies have also been selected to support SHRINE, which will run until March 2001, and may be reviewed after that.
