Who can apply for a Lottery grant?
To qualify for a grant, an organisation must:
be independently established for charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes;
have a constitution or a set of rules defining its aims, objectives and operational procedures;
have a bank or building society account with at least two joint signatories;
provide a copy of its most recent approved and signed accounts.
And who can't?
The Charities Board seeks to avoid financing activities which would otherwise be funded by
government. Grants are not normally made to HAs, local authorities or NHS trusts.
