FINANCE: Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is planning for a £6.7m surplus in 2012-13.
The FT’s financial plan for the year say it will make the surplus despite income challenges. The plans say most directorates will be expected to make efficiency savings of 5 per cent.
The FT was also hoping to make a £6.7m surplus in 2011-12. However it reported being behind plan in February, and its final outturn is not yet known.
