Internet used to diagnose embarrassing conditions

A third of people with embarrassing health conditions would rather use the internet to self-diagnose than visit the doctor, according to a poll carried out by TV channel UKTV Style.The poll also found nearly half of all people with conditions such as sexually transmitted infections or bowel problems were reluctant to visit their doctor and were worried about a physical examination.
