Brown calls for 'deeper and wider' NHS reform
Gordon Brown has promised greater personal and preventive healthcare as part of his vision for the NHS.In his first major speech on health since becoming prime minister, Mr Brown told an audience of health professionals in London that if the NHS is to meet the needs of the 21st century, 'we will have to embrace even deeper and wider reform'.
