Join HSJ’s conversation

This week HSJ is starting a conversation that will draw on the expertise of our readers. We are inviting you to join the conversation by answering this question: What are the behaviour and process changes you believe are needed for the NHS to deliver consistent, financially sustainable 24/7 working?

‘What are the changes needed for the NHS to deliver consistent, financially sustainable 24/7 working?’

With employers attempting to persuade consultants to operate more services at weekends and evidence that patients admitted at weekends have a greater chance of dying, this debate is central to the improvement of the health service

The conversation will run for three weeks, starting on 19 June. On the day, registered users of hsj.co.uk will receive an email invitation with details of how to take part.

To enable you to engage with this question, we are using a simple, secure and anonymous website that is accessible from any device, at any time. Using this website you will be able to share your ideas, comment on those of others and vote the best to the top. That way you will collectively identify and prioritise the responses you feel are best.

A selection of the best responses will be featured in HSJ. Your expertise is essential to this debate and we look forward to hearing your contributions.

If you wish to take part but do not receive an invitation, email andrew.snowball@emap.com
