Nursing and Midwifery Council issues code of conduct draft
The Nursing and Midwifery Council has published the latest draft version of its new code of conduct.The publication follows a three-month consultation that involved 2,000 nurses and midwives. A second consultation phase will be launched in June.Find out more here

March waiting figures released
The Department of Health has published inpatient and outpatient waiting time figures for March 2007.Among the findings, the number of patients in England waiting over 20 weeks at the end of March was 15,200, a decrease of 24,900 from February 2007.
