Inclusion, South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare Foundation Trust - Nalxone: Increasing awareness, saving lives

Inclusion – formed as part of South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare Foundation Trust – has trained more than 1,000 patients and others in overdose awareness and administration of the Nalxone drug.

The organisation says the project has saved more than 50 lives as well as slashing health expenditure by £7.22 for every £1 spent.

Judges said the body had “seized an opportunity” to help people at risk.
