East Midlands CAMHS Collaborative

The East Midlands CAMHS Collaborative has united to improve services for children and young people, delivering tangible improvements across the region.

While Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust leads the initiative, all partners maintain equal representation, with senior leaders, clinicians and service users collaborating to develop a new care model that provides effective community alternatives to inpatient admission closer to home.

This approach has improved patient experiences and outcomes while reducing waiting times, admissions, lengths of stay and bed occupancy rates – freeing up essential funding for reinvestment in enhanced community care.
