The Department of Health has published waiting times for 15 key diagnostic tests to the end of July.

The figures show a slight increase in long-term waiters compared with the previous month.

The number of patients in England waiting more than six weeks for one of the 15 key diagnostics tests at the end of July 2008 was 11,100, an increase of 1,000 (10 per cent) from June 2008. The number waiting more than 13 weeks increased by 2,100 (105.8 per cent).
