Call for Concern: Co-Designing Safety at the Bedside
Call for Concern is a patient safety initiative that provides patients and families with direct access to the trust’s critical care outreach team. The project was developed using extensive user insight and co-designed to meet the needs of the diverse north west London population it serves.
While the initiative centres on bedside stickers, its impact extends far beyond this simple tool. It represents a fundamental shift from hospital-centred messaging towards a patient experience-led approach. The trust has created a communications-led intervention that empowers patients and families to speak up, while driving cultural change across the organisation.
