WINNER: Induction Attend Anywhere and Moorfields Eye Hospital FT: Virtual A&E

Moorfields Eye Hospital introduced a Virtual A&E service with Induction Healthcare’s Attend Anywhere platform to give patients access to the vital eye care they needed as the pandemic and subsequent UK lockdown in March 2020 was announced. The service addressed two immediate challenges: identifying and managing the most critical emergencies while minimising hospital visits and crucially providing care to patients for whom lack of access to key services could lead to significant harm, or loss of vision.
