Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board launched a bold digital transformation strategy, partnering with NHS SBS to deliver an integrated single finance and procurement service across its five member trusts. The pioneering collaboration not only included finance, accounting and procurement; it also introduced NHS SBS’s enhanced purchase-to-pay solution integrating catalogues, inventory and materials management to create a consistent solution system-wide, and a platform for supply chain excellence and genuine collaboration opportunities region-wide. This is the first-ever NHS contract for delivery of consolidated corporate services over an integrated care system’s full footprint, say organisers.
