Surrey and Borders Partnership FT

Surrey and Borders Carers Programme

The trust recognises the valuable contributions unpaid carers make to the NHS and SaBP. The work programme focuses on identifying, recording and supporting carers, while collaborating with partner organisations and ensuring carers’ voices are heard throughout the organisation, including in improvement initiatives.

The trust has developed training, resources and support packages to integrate carers into everyday practice, helping the organisation implement the six standards of the Triangle of Care framework, which underpins the programme. The trust also provides dedicated support for staff members who are carers themselves.
