Vision in the Community: Reducing Health Inequalities Through Mobile Ophthalmology

Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology provides innovative, mobile NHS eye care, delivering sight-saving treatment directly within communities. Through mobile clinics and newly established fixed hubs, we assess, diagnose and treat conditions such as Wet AMD close to home, reducing travel barriers, easing hospital demand, and addressing health inequalities.

Serving more than 7,000 patients annually, our flexible model ensures timely access, continuity of care, and exceptional patient satisfaction. Rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission, we are reshaping ophthalmology pathways by making specialist care accessible, equitable, and preventive at the community level.
